Samantha J. Boardman earned her doctorate in American Studies from Rutgers University-Newark, with a concentration in Public History and Oral History.  Her superpowers include archival activation and research, digital humanities and curating programming that engages multiple audiences.  She has served as consultant on documentary and curricular projects and works to preserve and make accessible community collections so that local voices are heard in the historical conversation.
