Sahar Hosseini is the Newest Americans’ research strategist and project manager. Her research and design work is informed by her Doctoral research, as well as design background in Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Her work focuses on the cultural, social, and behavioral analysis of the built environment, with the aim to understand how people perceive, use, and interact with their environment; and how the study of urban landscapes can inform us about the socio-cultural condition of societies that create, inhabit and modify them. She has widely presented and published her work in national and international venues and received grants and fellowships from prestigious institutions including Andrew Mellon Foundation, Dumbarton Oaks, and Society of Architectural Historians.
