Stephanie began her career as a storyteller by documenting life through her drawings. Inspired by the courageous vulnerability of the people who let her into their lives, she now spends her time collecting and collaging moments into films. Her recent film, Death Metal Grandma, premiered at SXSW, and Kitty and Ellen screened at DocNYC. She has produced and edited several films for Newest Americans including Gateways to Newark and Here & Not. Moving beyond the traditional documentary mold, she’s animated interactives for Glass Books and the Arrivals Booth. Her passion for sports and storytelling took her to Sochi, Russia for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games with NBC Sports and to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis. Stephanie graduated with a B.A. in Documentary Studies and Production and minors in Art and Environmental Studies from Ithaca College. She hopes to continue to create meaningful media that inspires empathy and understanding.
