Joseph LabibLab & Design Technician, Form Design Studio
Joseph Labib was born in Cairo, Egypt and immigrated to the United States when he was 13. He Graduated from Rutgers Newark’s Arts, Culture and Media Department with a Bachelors of. Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Joseph began working for the Form Design Studio and. Lab in 2017. In 2018, he was hired as the Form Design Studio’s official Lab and Design Technician.
His Design technician position enables Joseph to work with children, students, artists, professors, and the community of Newark regularly. Joseph has collaborated and assisted on several grants-funded research projects. The most recent grant project being “Digital Mapping, Reconstruction, and Exhibition” for the iconic Krueger-Scott Mansion in Newark.
Joseph is a multidisciplinary designer. He incorporates new, emerging technologies within his graphic design practices. He aims to deliver a variety of different experiences to his audience. His most recent project, titled Humanoid, brings together a variety of media (print, website, and virtual reality interaction). Humanoid imagines humans in the future the positive effects of technology on humans.
