Arthur Thornton is a Dancer/Choreographer/Educator (Ballet, Modern, Contemporary,and Hip-Hop) who has been dancing since the age of eight. He began instructing directly after high-school. Currently teaching preschool Music/Dance at the Leaguers Incorporated located in Irvington, New Jersey, Company Member with American Liberty Ballet based in Union City, New Jersey, Ballet and Contemporary Hip-Hop at the ClubHouse in Newark, New Jersey.

Also a graduate of the Arts Institute of New York and trains under the direction of Alfred Gallman Newark Dance Theatre. Arthur studies at Montclair State University (Major: Child Advocacy, Minor: Dance)

Arthur has danced under the direction of various choreographers in the Tri-State Area …Fredrick Earl Mosley, Clifton Brown, Brian Brooks, Rodrick Jackson,and Dawn Hillen. He also performed in the Nutcracker, many Art Galleries, And NJPAC’s Dr.Martin Luther King Tribute. To name more of Arthur’s works….Buzz Aldrin Middle School musical theatre choreographer, artistic director of the “High School Musical” 2017, “Legally  Blonde” 2018 and Gallery Aferro Potluck Performance 2016-2018. Dance is Arthur’s name.
