Humanities Action Lab

The Humanities Action Lab, a national coalition led from Rutgers University-Newark, is hosting a series of conversations to reimagine public humanities and social justice in the context of the pandemic and anti-racist, Black Lives Matter protests.

These conversations will feature HAL partners across the country, including stories from Newark and other community organizations on the ground.  This project is an outgrowth of HAL’s most recent project, Climates of Inequality.
