Express Newark is proud to be a part of the Tanner Lecture Series on Human Values

“Flowing: Human Migrations and Human Values,” is a week-long festival of art and ideas, many of which will be held at Express Newark.  The Tanner Lectures is an international and multiversity lecture series in the humanities that encompasses the entire range of ideals pertinent to the human condition.

April 22 Express Newark Foyer/Main Lobby:  8am – 10pm

“Krueger-Scott Oral History Project Jukebox”
“For My Immigrants” & WE CAME AND STAYED: Ras Baraka & Coyt Jones video installations

April 24 Express Newark Lecture Hall: 2pm – 7pm
“The Arrivals Photo Story Booth” (2:30 – 6:00)
“Student Voices, Migrant Stories” (2:30 – 4:00)
“The South is Everywhere: The African-American Migration Narrative”  w/ Ayanna Mathis & Prof. Farah Jasmine Griffin (5:00 – 6:00)
