Originally hailing from Hamden, CT, I moved to Brooklyn, NY, then ended up residing in New Jersey a year later. I transferred from Union County College to join the Rutgers Newark Art and Science program. I am a Graphic Design major in the BFA program who specializing with illustrations and making semantic and semiotic connections between imagery and type. My works tend to introduce my cultural background, personal stories, and provide awareness to the social issues that affect my community.  I am continuing my works in the Visual Means course to use my abilities for a greater cause that can benefit others. I have also been working with Professor Emmanuele Cacciatore for 3 semesters as a teacher assistant for the Design Fundamentals course, helping organize the class, help students learn to build compositions to their designs, and help students become familiar with the Adobe software.
