Joseph Sabatino worked as a freelancer for Rutgers since 2008 and was Head Preparator during the summer, 2017. Separate from his professional work at Rutgers, Joseph has also collaborated with many art institutions such as; Galerie Lelong, Jenkins Johnson Gallery, Sculpture Center, Gagosian and most recently, Galerie Perrotin.

Mr. Sabatino’s personal world is equally infused with contemporary art, as he’s a practicing, visual artist with completed studies at Montclair State University and Lorenzo de Medici Institute of Art in Florence, Italy. Traditionally trained in black and white photography, Joseph has expanded and evolved into a host of mixed mediums to produce industrial works on paper, wall reliefs and sculptures. His largest site-specific installation to date was completed in 2015 at the Museo della Bonifica di Ca’ Vendramin in Veneto, Italy housed in an industrial, historical, 4,000 sq. ft. water pumping facility.
